Subscribing to the Video Podcast from a Mac or Windows Computer

Quick instructions: Make sure iTunes is installed. Click here to subscribe from your Windows or Mac desktop or laptop computer.

If you’re unfamiliar with subscribing to a podcast, or just interested in more details, you can also subscribe to the video podcast by following these easy steps:

Click on the Subscribe to Videos button located under any of our videos.

On the popup, click on the Subscribe on iTunes button.

This will open the iTunes Preview NutritionFacts.org Video Podcast page. If Preview cannot find iTunes installed on your computer, it will display the box shown below:

Determine if iTunes is Installed

Mac computers come preinstalled with iTunes. It is located in the Applications folder, Launchpad, and the default Dock configuration.

Windows computers do not come with iTunes. To find out if you have iTunes installed on a Windows 10 computer, select the Start () button, and then scroll through the alphabetical list on the left until you get to the letter I, where iTunes would be. If you do not see iTunes on the list, it isn’t installed. On an older Windows computer, click on the Start () button, go to All Programs, and look for a folder called iTunes. If you see it, you have iTunes installed.

If iTunes is installed, click the I have iTunes button in the gray box shown above. Otherwise, click the Free Download button to download the iTunes installer. When the download is complete, double-click it to open it and click Run in the window that pops up.

 

Keep clicking Next and accepting the default settings offered (or changing them if desired) until iTunes is finished installing.

Once iTunes is installed, return to the iTunes Preview by going to https://nutritionfacts.org/video-podcast-subscribe/ and clicking Subscribe on iTunes.

Clicking View in iTunes opens iTunes and displays the NutritionFacts.org Video Podcast page.

To subscribe, click the SUBSCRIBE button.

Congratulations, you are now subscribed to our video podcast! New podcast episodes will appear in iTunes as they are published.
